The townspeople of Cumberland Gap in Claiborne County at the Tennessee Kentucky state line wanted a public space for community activities. ETCDC Landscape Architect volunteer Bob Cole helped design a downtown plaza space complementing the town’s status as a regional craft and cultural center and to support their annual spring festival.  The park is still in use today and the city received a grant in 2020 to renovate the plaza.
