Everyone, say hello to the newest member of our Staff here at the Design Center, Ms. Melody Wyatt! Melody joins us after having worked in the past at UT and then for five years at the Boy Scouts’ Great Smoky Mountain Council. She retired in November of 2020 but decided to come out of her retirement to work with us on Mondays and Tuesdays every week. She will be assisting us with our Membership and Outreach, as well as Office Administration.
Below are a few things Melody wants you to know about her.
About her personal life, she says: ‘I have four grown children, three grandbabies (who are grand!), a rescue dog named Claire, and a stray cat named Tommy. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and anything around water. I enjoy music of any kind and going to concerts and musicals. I also love sunsets, UT football, decorating, cooking, and gardening.’
On why she’s excited to work with us, she says: ‘I have been a volunteer for years and wanted to help out a couple of days per week with an organization that I truly love and am passionate about.’
