Carey is the Chief Executive Officer for LHP Capital, a firm who develops and manages multi-family housing properties with a primary emphasis on affordable housing. Since 1998, LHP has developed over 13,500 apartment units across 105 properties. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and her MBA from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Carey is a member of the Leadership Tennessee Class VIII, a graduate of the Leadership Knoxville Class of 2019, and was named to the Knoxville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2017.
