Dr. Dasha Lundy is a leader and community advocate. She was born and raised in East Knoxville and still resides in that area. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from the University of TN at Chattanooga. She also has a Master and Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Tennessee State University and the University of TN in Chattanooga, respectively. She is a Knox County Commissioner for District 1. Dr. Lundy also is the Co-Owner of The Women LLC, a firm whose mission is to create avenues to financing small businesses.
She is currently active in many organizations, which include being the Former President of the Burlington Residents Association, Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for Knoxville College, Commissioner for the Knoxville City Historic Zoning Commission, Board Member of the East TN Community Design Center and many other community organizations. She is passionate about community and economic development, especially for low-income communities. Dr. Lundy’s vision is for low-income communities to have access and opportunity to become sustainable.
