Nathan is a Principal with McCarty Holsaple McCarty Architects whose previous experience at both large and small firms has allowed him to work on projects all over the world. Since joining MHM, he has been both an award winning designer and a project manager on a variety of office, retail, hospitality, and educational buildings, as well as having experience in both governmental and private development.
Nathan served as our Board President from 2019-2020 and before that as a Board Member from 2015-2019. When moving from his position as Board President at the end of 2020, Nathan had this to say:
'It has been a great pleasure to serve on the board of directors for the East Tennessee Community Design Center. Being President and Vice President the past four years has been one of the most rewarding and challenging times of my life. I have been honored to work with some incredible people to bring assistance to nonprofits and community groups across East Tennessee. I know the impact we have made, and the friendships we have formed, will last a lifetime.'
