A Mountain Community Gets Some Recreational Assets

The ETCDC worked with the Jellico Seventh Day Adventist Advisory Committee, located in the small mountain town of Jellico in Campbell County, to develop a community walking trail system, an enhanced playground, a baseball field, and a creek stabilization system using stone rip-rap, willow bundle staking, and a rock weir. This system will allow for controlled drainage and prevention of erosion from rainwater runoff that was damaging their campus.
