Mechanicsville Neighborhood was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

ETCDC continued to help the Mechanicsville community with projects including recent façade work, the preservation of Firehall #5 , the Moses School, and Fairview Recreation Center.

The placement of the Mechanicsville neighborhood on the  National Register of Historic Places was coordinated by the ETCDC with the volunteer assistance of Gloria Neal Testerman.
