The Sols Career Development Program developed by Sherri Williams was established to restore underserved adult women and at-risk females with job skills, life skills, book publishing, apprenticeship job training, and entrepreneur leadership development. Also improving their spiritual and professional leadership skills for their families and their communities. Sherri Williams wanted to establish a training center in Burlington. She requested assistance from the ETCDC and volunteer Ric Mixon, AIA. The design team developed conceptual floor plans and renderings for the proposed facility.
