The initial project request for this project was for improvements in the baseball field facilities and landscape. Over time other components emerged, resulting in a new public playground that could be shared with the adjacent Christenberry Elementary School. The playground was eventually replaced with a new and expanded school facility. Also on the site is the Christenberry Community Club building, a Barber and McMurry designed stone clubhouse which, the ETCDC provided renovation and accessibility plans for with the volunteer assistance of interior designer Josette Rabun.
