Hiawassee College is a small liberal arts Methodist college organized in 1849.

ETCDC developed a site master plan addressing both pedestrian and vehicular circulation.

ETCDC assessed several buildings on the campus.

The small liberal arts college, located just outside of Madisonville, had developed in a quadrangle layout but had not had a cohesive plan for the landscape and circulation development. The small liberal arts college, located just outside of Madisonville, had developed in a quadrangle layout but had not had a cohesive plan for the landscape and circulation development. As a small nonprofit Methodist college organized in 1849, they lacked the funds for private design services and hoped that campus improvements would increase enrollment and secure the future of the college. The ETCDC developed a site master plan addressing both pedestrian and vehicular circulation on the campus as well as building issues with the volunteer assistance of landscape architect Dave Forkner, architect Robert Parrot, and planner Randy McGill.
